Since 1942, the Canadian Institute of Management has been dedicated to providing management training, recognition andfellowship for Canadian managers at all levels of the profession. London Chapter was established in 1962 to provide general management education and training for professionals moving into a management position. For half a century, London has been the leader in management training in the local area, and has grown to the second largest Chapter in Canada. Today, the Canadian Institute of Management has seventeen Chapters in eight provinces, with members all across Canada.
London Chapter is fortunate to be partnered with Continuing Studies at Western for our adult learning. The program is designed to give general management education in a user-friendly environment. Members have the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals, while enhancing their academic skills. Once they have obtained their CIM designation, credits can be transferred to Continuing Studies towards the Professional Certificate in Management.
CIM grants three designations to those who qualify. The Certified in Management designation (C.I.M.), the Professional Manager designation (P.Mgr.) and the Chartered Manager designation (C.Mgr) signify Canada’s leaders in general management and administration.
The London Chapter of CIM offers fellowship, social and professional networking opportunities through an extensive and flexible membership, structured to engage any member within the Institute. London Chapter excels in programs that continue to enhance and grow the management experience. Membership levels include -
